To celebrate the recent announcement of the partnership between Stormzy and Rockstar Energy Drink, we’re giving four retailers the chance to win £250 every month for the rest of the year.

From 21st July, Stormzy is fronting a free digital in-app concert experience on Spotify in celebration of Rockstar Energy Drink’s Press Play brand platform. The artist will perform hits from his ‘This is What I Mean’ album, alongside international stars from France, Poland and Germany. Across July and August, consumers have the chance to win tickets to an exclusive Stormzy performance in October with Rockstar, on top of this, consumers also have the chance to win one of 500 access passes for 6 months of Spotify Premium.

Amplify big brand partnerships

Authentic brand partnerships are a great way to drive awareness and encourage shoppers to engage with brands in your store. We’ve shared our top tips below for how retailers can amplify brand partnerships even further in-store:

  • Giveaway

    Host your own shopper giveaway to drive awareness of a promotion and excitement, for example, for every basket over £20 reward your customers with a free product item or a store discount to use in the future – this helps encourage customers to spend more in one trip and maintains loyalty

  • Create in-store theatre

    Relate it to the partnership - if it is a music promotion, play the artist in-store, create some theatre with displays and work with suppliers so you can giveaway merchandise with purchase

  • Utilise POS

    Drive awareness of the brand and activation by placing product at the front of the store and at the end of aisles to make sure it stands out. Where available, try countertop units so staff can talk confidently about the promotion at the till

  • Use Social Media

    Create engaging content across your store social media channels, this will help make customers aware of any brands which you are stocking that are running partnerships or competitions, and help drive footfall to check them out.
